Having read reviews we were keen to see if this place lived up to what had been written. Did it? Yes by far, what a gem. The staff are fabulous, so friendly and welcoming. The food was superb, very tasty and plenty of it with a great choice of menu. The Bell is a beautiful old pub/restaurant with fabulous accommodation. Our room was large, clean, with a super comfy bed, and a lovely shower. We did wonder if it would be noisy but after 10pm, there was total silence. For us the staff do make this place, Nick the manager was lovely and our young lady at breakfast was wonderful, such a rare thing these days that's for sure. The whole place was spotless, the outside pretty, a very lovely welcoming place.

Set in a beautiful Cotswolds village location. The rooms are fitted to a really high standard and style that respects the building. The Sunday Lunch was amazing, Breakfast was also a great treat, the local ingredients and level of cooking making it notable. The wine selection available to see and take away from the wine wall is a great idea, reasonably priced and the owner and team are very knowledgeable about the wine have visited most vineyards. The team who run the Bell have a great rapport, and make you feel very welcome. This is special pub that will help you escape to the country even if it's just one night.

The guest rooms were quiet and you wouldn’t know you were above a popular and busy pub/dining room. Parking on site was great, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was really varied and freshly made to order from the kitchen alongside a continental offering. We had an evening meal one night which was very nice and the property was in a good location for us to drive to the surrounding towns in the Cotswolds. We would return and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. The rooms were clean, tidy and the toiletries smelt lovely! Little touches made the stay ideal for a weekend away from it all.

Beautiful inn, lovely comfortable seating with considerate spacing between tables, all kept in line with originality of the inn. Food is absolutely superb, everything cooked perfectly and delicious. Extensive wine list and everything so reasonably priced. Staff are warm, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was also beautiful, clean and very comfortable, added bonus of a small kitchenette area with a wine cooler fridge and a microwave, beautiful views of the lovely garden area. Complete peace and quiet at night, an absolute treat. We will definitely be back 🙂

The bar is excellent, serving well kept local draught beer and a superb 'barrel aged' Negroni. The restaurant has a fantastic ambience made all the better by the log burners, good food and superb wine wall! Best of all is the cooked vegetarian breakfast, which looks and tastes as good if not better than the traditional breakfast. There are good walking routes direct from the pub that combine the peace and quiet and great scenery with the facsinating history surrounding the Sapperton Tunnel and the Thames and Severn Canal.
