Stayed after attending RIAT 2025. Bit of a pain to get to but that was because of the one way system not the location. Beautiful setting in and around beautiful sandstone finished buildings with a spacious car park and excellent welcoming locals and staff. Booked in with a later check-in time and a meal and the food was fantastic, smallish menu but great sounding meals from top to bottom along with a specials board. Local brewery beers to go with the generics on draft was a massive plus and at a reasonable price too. The room seemed to have every mod-con including Free WiFi and a lovely touch of lights in the skirting boards around the bathroom so there was no need to put the light on with a late night pee! The included breakfast was beautiful

Set in a beautiful Cotswolds village location. The rooms are fitted to a really high standard and style that respects the building. The Sunday Lunch was amazing, Breakfast was also a great treat, the local ingredients and level of cooking making it notable. The wine selection available to see and take away from the wine wall is a great idea, reasonably priced and the owner and team are very knowledgeable about the wine have visited most vineyards. The team who run the Bell have a great rapport, and make you feel very welcome. This is special pub that will help you escape to the country even if it's just one night.

So many things… Firstly, the staff were superb - friendly and professional and clearly proud of the business . The room was large, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and very comfortable and with everything we needed. The car park is large with plenty of space. As we were leaving early first morning for a local airshow, we were provided the night before with a delicious continental breakfast so we didn’t miss out (the room has a fridge, microwave and plates and crockery etc.). Cooked breakfast the second morning is the best we’ve ever had - superb. Absolutely faultless two night stay.

Beautiful inn, lovely comfortable seating with considerate spacing between tables, all kept in line with originality of the inn. Food is absolutely superb, everything cooked perfectly and delicious. Extensive wine list and everything so reasonably priced. Staff are warm, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was also beautiful, clean and very comfortable, added bonus of a small kitchenette area with a wine cooler fridge and a microwave, beautiful views of the lovely garden area. Complete peace and quiet at night, an absolute treat. We will definitely be back 🙂

The bar is excellent, serving well kept local draught beer and a superb 'barrel aged' Negroni. The restaurant has a fantastic ambience made all the better by the log burners, good food and superb wine wall! Best of all is the cooked vegetarian breakfast, which looks and tastes as good if not better than the traditional breakfast. There are good walking routes direct from the pub that combine the peace and quiet and great scenery with the facsinating history surrounding the Sapperton Tunnel and the Thames and Severn Canal.
